HAPPY HILL STABLE ~ TRAINING WITH PATIENCE AND KINDNESS~

NAVIGATE:

Carson Miller and Madison take the blue at the East Texas Gaited Classic, 2008.  Madison is a very nice Rocky Mountain mare proudly owned by Larry and Chris Broxson of Gaited Corners Farm.

Victory Lap Time for Dub and Copper

Our preference is to exhibit our horses at shows affiliated with The National Walking Horse Association, an organization founded to promote the sound Tennessee walking horse.  It offers a level playing field for all exhibitors, as all horses are closely inspected for signs of soring.  In addition, all of their shows in Texas include classes for Rocky Mountain and Kentucky mountain horses.

Copper Gen's High Pride, of Starland Farms has done well for himself in lite shod and plantation divisions.  Here, he and Dub take the blue once again at the Gaited Gala at Athens, TX.

How blessed we are to own Secret.  He is a true, old style, deep striding, Tennessee walking horse.  We owned him for part of the 2007 show season and he improved as Dub rode him.

Secret had the winter off and now is back under saddle.  With fuel costs what they are, he is not showing as much, but still making an impression wherever he goes.   We hope to take him to The National in Murfreesboro, TN in September.

PROUD PAPA
A proud Billy Baker comes to center ring as Dub rides his horse to championship victory.

Under Dub's guidance, Chris gained the skill and confidence to finally enter the ring. She got a late start in the season, but still managed to take third in high points.
