Julia attempts to claim her championship ribbon and trophy at the 2008 National Championship Horse Show, Murfreesboro, TN.  Hill's Secret Weapon had other ideas and was ready to leave the ring.

                                           A DYNAMIC DUO

Carson Miller and Madison's Classic, owned by Larry and Christine Broxson, have done well together in the show ring.  They won youth high point trophies in 2008 at both the East Texas Gaited Classic and The Gaited Gala.  We don't know who is more pleased; the Millers or the Broxsons.

                                            STILL IN THE GLOW

of victory, Julia and Dub revel in her championship victory.  On a previous day at the NWHA Championship Show,  Julia and Secret placed first in a very large youth trail pleasure class.
  Two for two.

                                     TRAINER IN TRAINING
Justin Kelly lends a willing hand in the training of this beautiful mare sent to Happy Hill by Walking Proud Farm, Claremore, OK.  He made his first show at the 2008 Gaited Gala in Athens, TX, where he won an unbelievable 5 blue ribbons.  Linda was not there with her camera, so there is not a single photo to document this milestone.  Justin wants to be a trainer just like Grandpa when he grows up.

                                           A NEED FOR SPEED
Chris Kelly hangs on as Hill's Magic Weapon racks his way around the arena.  Chris is a good hand when visiting on the farm, and Magic, registered Rocky Mountain gelding, is his favorite mount.

                                   HORSEMAN EXTRAORDINAIRE
Well, you can't win them all, and as this photo reveals, Carson's colt, Tango, had no love for his visit to the NWHA Championship Horse Show.  He was ready to go back to Texas, from day one.  Carson did a great job exhibiting him, maintaining his poise and sportsmanship throughout the week.  Here, he is trying to keep the lid on Tango, who wants to explode.
